This console table was designed to be special and exclusive piece with a simple geometry and easy to build.

The intention was to develop a table which created a visual diversity when seen from different perspectives. Pleats and folds are resources often used in fashion in order to allow movement, add detail and create volume in a garment. The desire was to achieve this unpleating, unfolding effect when approaching the table.

It was through changing subtly the geometry of each profile, and creating a gradient of colours between them that such diversity was achieved, where mass, void, black, white, light and shadow alternate rhythmically.
